I mostly made quilted patches, but I made one cute aplique patch.
(Quilted patch, cut two pieces, sew right sides together leaving 1 inch opening. Turn right side out, topstitch around the edge, quilt by machine, sew on via free arm on sewing machine or by hand.)

That's fabulous! I usually just let them be or cut them off for shorts, but this seems much better.
